The APSAC Center for Child Policy (CCP) works to translate research into usable resources that promote evidence-informed policy-making and best practices for all professions involved in the field of child maltreatment.

CCP identifies and articulates the most critical and challenging policy and practice issues, convening committees of national experts and practitioners to help and scrutinize and evaluate the best-available research on each issue.

The Alliance is dedicated to advancing 
research, policy, education and practice worldwide. We are organized as a cooperative initiative to provide state-of-the-art theory and research-based knowledge to inform, guide, and empower the public, professionals, and all those who serve children and families at all levels and sectors of society, toward the elimination of child psychological maltreatment. The Alliance is intended to be the world’s primary resource on child psychological maltreatment, its nature, and how to prevent it in ways that protect and promote child well-being, and thereby advance the safety, development, and health of children.

The National Initiative to End Corporal Punishment works in collaboration with the US Alliance Against the Hitting of Children, New York Foundling and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. Our purpose is to provide up-to-date information about corporal punishment to parents and professionals with the aim of ending this practice in the United States.
